The POSTAL Novel?
In one of the discussions I read something about a POSTAL Novel. I got curios and searched a bit and I found this:
https://www.amazon.com/Postal-Special-Delivery-Book-ebook/dp/B017DWXIF6/189-6916767-5806258?
ie=UTF8&keywords=postal%20special%20delivery&qid=1446864197&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2
Did anyone knew about this? I had no idea.
I only know one thing: I want to read it.

It's actually really good. Read it several times. It's not canon though, so you're not missing out on any story elements.

It is possible to buy it through paysafecard ? I'm interested.

yea i thought about reading it.... then i thought about not spending my $5.....
@Oddheads, you got a PDF scan of the book?

I bought it and read it a month or two ago. IMO it's horrible. Don't see how RWS could have let something like that come out, it reads like fanfiction. That two star review on Amazon is mine, sums up my thoughts well enough.

You liked it? Not trying to sound condescending or anything, I'm just curious to hear your thoughts.

The author's actually a pretty nice person, so I'm not exactly willing to illegally pirate their work. If you want to read it, I'd recommend buying it.

The sex scene felt kinda pointless, aside from that I really enjoyed it, especially in the later chapters where he actually goes postal.

Eh, diff'rent strokes I guess.

It started out well enough with the description of Paradise at the beginning, but the moment it was revealed that the Dude was a teenager in high school, that was like a huge shock. Everything went down hill after that.

The final chapter was decent though.

I can agree that the final chapter was definitely the best chapter, yes.

In reply to Dr. Proton, here's an extract from the book just in case you aren't already persuaded to buy it: "Blood splinters everywhere. Like a river, flowing around me, pulling me in its wake. Paradise! Prepare for…deconstruction! Postal Dude wrote this in his notebook when he came upon a vast construction site in the woods. Leaving his trench coat and the heavy guns under a tree, he entered the territory. His stay wasn’t long. He only threw the foreman under a combine, beat the roofer to death, stabbed two glaziers, and sawed an electrician in half."

Well thats interessting I think I'm gonna give it a try. I mean the movie is also a bit different but I love it.
I don't don't really care how old the dude is I just want to know whats going on inside his mind when goes postal.

Don't worry, you see plenty of that. Though bear in mind the Novel is NOT CANON.

Oh? I thought this wasn't published, or never finished? Huh.

So the feelings for it are mixed, it seems.

Each to their own, I guess. I was expecting something very different from it, but what I got I certainly wasn't disappointed by.

Fun fact: There's actually two more official POSTAL novels. Both are Russian. Both seem to be adaptations of POSTAL III.

So, POSTAL is a franchise with quite the bibliography.

OMG ! It's real.

postal Чувак и надувная свобода
postal Реальный чувак

Why there are so many postal-related stuff (books, uncensored mobile game,Corkscrew RuLes,Postal 3 limited editions,Fart Gun) Russian only?
