thats why i love postal
cause its soo ahead of its time
Hatred might be edgy but it does have:
-Better gunplay
-Better enviroments + nearly fully destructible
-Way better AI (enemies don't stand like dumbasses getting shot at and actually try to flank you from multipile directions , take cover etc)
It's overally more fun gameplay wise.
Tho Postal is not bad for what it is.
"Better ai"
Bruh really?
Yes really ;]
Have you actually played it?
Enemy AI in Hatred while not perfect its still leagues better than in Postal Redux.
In Postal Redux enemies stand like dumbasses and get shot from afar without even returning fire and only move and shoot at you when you are close.
Meanwhile in Hatred enemies engage as soon as they see you / activley seek you out if you run away and can snipe your ass from off screen, armed forces split into groups and try to flank your position / try to sorround and flush you out of cover , seek cover themselves , rush you when they notice you are reloading , civies can pick up fallen guns and try to take you down.
All this makes the gameplay in Hatred really tense especially on higher difficulties.
Postal Redux on Nightmare feels almost like Hatred on "Story Mode"
Barely any challenge because of the poor AI
Cool i guess, but i still prefer Postal Redux in my opinion
