I found references to 4 unused levels in the game files
While I was looking through the game files, I noticed that there is music for 10 "DLC" levels.

After closer inspection I noticed that these music tracks are the ones from the addon levels special delivery and super postal. (EZ Mart, Shantytown, Earthquake, Resort, Tokyo, Osaka).

So my conclusion is, that these music tracks were supposed to be used for bonus levels and not exactly DLCs. 4 of these music tracks aren't used anywhere though. Which makes me believe that there were ideas for even more completely new bonus levels at some point in development, probably at the very beginning which ultimately were scrapped. The level music tracks still remain in the game files though and werent removed by the devs.

The DLC loading screen music files in question are DLC Loading Screen 3,4,7,9. They also cannot be found on the official OST and are cut content. They probably were also composed by Kurt Willoughby like all the other bonus level tracks but that is just an assumption.

Probably nobody will care but I thought it was an interesting find. I only wanted to get some of the games samples and bonus music stuff like the rampage ending and stumbled over these by accident.

Would be cool to hear from the devs about this. Were there plans for more bonus levels at some point?

Yes, we did plan on adding more levels at one point before we switched to work on another project. Off the top of my head, I remember three levels: Airport, Harbor and Downtown although we didn't make any music for them, so the ones you are referring to must simply be tracks that we imported to the engine but ended up scrapping (We made a few more loops that we didn't end up using in the release build).

That is pretty interesting. A harbor level sounds really cool. Shame it didn't work out but from what I read Postal Redux didn't sell as good as you had hoped anyway. I think it just wasn't too interesting for Postal 2 fans. I still really like it and bought it twice or actually three times considering the collectors edition had it too. Redux plays really good and even better than the original from 1997.
