Fans of Nusakana, what are your favorite games?
Hello everyone! I have (rather recently) fallen madly in love with this game, and am so excited to keep playing it.

I'm asking fans of Nusakana, what are your favorite games of all time? Preferably hidden gems (like Nusakana) that not many people have heard of before.

If you like this game, you must have excellent taste, so I want to know what else you would suggest~! Doesn't have to be JRPG-based, but those are always fun :) I just want to know what you all enjoy!

Relatively obscure-ish (J)RPGs: ClaDun x2 (the only other game besides Nusakana I made a review for), One Way Heroics, Helen's Mysterious Castle and Trillion: God of Destruction. All of those are on Steam and as for non-Steam games, the only other games that comes to mind are Contact and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier, both on the Nintendo DS as well as Space Funeral and OFF, both for PC (freeware).

Relatively obscure-ish Non-RPGs: Umihara Kawase (the entire original trilogy), Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters, NitorInc: Touhou Microgames (demo only so far), Gundemonium Recollection, Wings of Vi and Q-YO Blaster, with all of those being on Steam too. Some non-Steam ones: Retro Game Challenge 1 and 2 (both on the DS), Gitarooman (PSP and PS2), Tail of the Sun, Parodius Forever With Me and Incredible Crisis, those last ones all being PS1 games.

Thank you! ClaDun x2 looks very tempting... Might check it out :) Space funeral & Off are both amazing games as well, agreed. I've seen Contact before but haven't tried it, looks very earthbound-like.

I definitely recommend Contact, just keep in mind the game was rushed during development and it really shows, but it's still a very special and unique experience in my opinion. The atmosphere in particular is amazing.

I got this game in an IndiGala bundle (the reason I got the bundle in the first place).

Despite its flaws, I'm really enjoying it.

My fav game of all time, is a JRPG from the PS1. Its called Suikiden II... i highly recommend it :)
I played quite a few Harvest Moon games in the past and have a love for RPG maker style games despite what people say about the engine. This is definitely a game made with a lot of heart and charm to it. There is something about this game where you can be playing for hours and hours and still have so much more to unpack on this small island.

This is a necro however may help others. I think Dungeon Dreams is very similar due to the "Do what you want, how you want." Vibe both games give. Obviously a fantasy game but, draws a similar feel of a harvest moon, Rune factory, and Stardew valley. love child. hope this helps ppl in the future.
