Question 1.
Is it possible to recommend the "10 year EOL license" to people who have never purchased Modo, and have them use it commercially?
Or is this service limited to people who have purchased Modo indie or the full version of Modo?
Question 2.
After the "10 year EOL license" expires in 10 years, will there be no choice but to stop using Modo?
It would be sad to spend time on an app that will become unusable in 10 years, so I would like some kind of relief or hope.
I don't think there will be a modeling software that is easier to use than Modo even in 10 years, so it's very unfortunate that it can only be used for 10 years.
Question 3.
Is there a way for indie users to convert .lxf files directly to .lxo format without converting them to FBX, etc.,
or a way to directly load .lxf files into the full version of Modo?
If there isn't, I would like to request that it be made possible.

They released a converter recently:
https://support.foundry.com/hc/en-us/articles/23487105900434-Q100703-Transferring-your-Projects-from-Modo-Indie
with a "how to convert your files" script.
Greg/PixelFondue (basically the core community of Modo ) has suggested Foundry to release Modo as open source and would actively help to edit the source code. So maybe there is a 2nd life for Modo.
Thank you very much for listening to the requests of Modo indie users.
I am very grateful that I was able to load my old .lxf data assets into the full version of Modo without them being corrupted.
It's strange that Modo is ending, as it has so much room for development, so I hope that there will be some good news within the next 10 years.
Modo is very easy to use and has a much better UI than other 3D apps, so if development continues in collaboration with companies that make AI RENDER, I think it has the potential to become a popular app for decades to come.
I hope that it will be open sourced and that development of Modo will be revived. Thank you.
