Are we going to get the Ultimate version of Budget Cuts 1?

Preferably as an update to the original for existing owners and new buyers. I already own it on the Oculus Store for my Rift S but I wouldn't mind buying it again on Steam if it were to get updated here.

I'm very interested in the new tweaks to the gameplay for BC1 and whatever new content it has, I don't think is fair that only Quest and PSVR2 players are getting it when og owners are not.

Hey a.j! We don't have any plans on updating BC1 or 2 to get the tweaks added in BCU, but we will release BCU on Steam! The price point is going to be the same as BC1 and 2 was, so if you already played BC1 buying BCU won't cost more than just buying BC2. We also plan on having some Steam bundle solution for making BCU even cheaper if you already have BC1 or 2 in your Steam library.

Curious to know the logic of a entire new release VS update. Regardless as an owner of BC1&2 I'm being asked to re purchase this content. I'd love to play BC with it's "limitations" addressed but not sure enough to buy them all over again. I'll be watching for the release and deal for current owners.

The big focus of the new release was to get Budget Cuts to new platforms (Quest and PSVR2), and we felt the seamless experience would be better than releasing Budget Cuts 1 and 2 separately. The Steam version will not differ much from the original games on Steam and is more of a chance for new players to get 1+2 for the price of one, or for players who played the first game only.

Please, please do not make your faithful customers, who already paid for BC1 and BC2, feel like second class citizens - I hope you offer them the Ultimate version either for free or at a very steep discount. You hopefully have the ability to create a bundle that contains 3 games - BC1, BC2 and BCU - and discount this bundle. This way all who already own BC1 and 2 will be able to buy the Ultimate version much cheaper. That's just one of the possibilities.

We plan on doing exactly that - bundle all three games together so owners of previous games can get BCU much cheaper.
