Isn't the controls on keyboard really sluggish ?
Anyway, to do a whip I think you just hold A + Right Arrow or D + Left Arrow.

On the contrary they are a little bit faster then a gamepad buttons. BUT the gamepads is much more comfortable to play when you need to touch more than 2-3 buttons at a time. I would play with my xbox360 controller but i cant find a wireless connector in nearby shops to buy and that makes me sad =P.
Anyway, A + > or D + < was used in MXGP I and of course i tried it here. And it doesn't works. Maybe i'm just a nooby player which cannot do anything right but why could i do all these in MXGP I and neither here? Physics!
Gonna buy full version of it soon and practice more. Maybe then i could do better.
Thanks anyway.

Whaaat ? I use keyboard aswell and when I first tried it the controls were super sluggish. I would hit 'A' and it would take like half a second before it would turn, that was pretty much not playable for me. I had to emulate a gamepad with my keyboard to get the delay/sluggishness down a bit but even now it's still sluggish.

I had this problem while played the first part. It is caused by low fps in combo with bad in-game v-sync system. After i turned v-sync off ingame and turned in on with NVIDIA panel it went from (30 locked fps + slow controls) to (100+ fps + nice fast bike\rider control).
There are no reason to blame keyboards in slow react.

This isn't the case for me.

I have 100+ fps the whole time and vsync is off ingame and on in the nvidia control-panel.

The problem can be seen in the first-person mode, if I try to turn you'll see the handlebar turn really slowly and it makes it impossible for me to accurately steer because I'll be constantly over and under steering.

Depends on wich rig you are using ReCon..

I use GTX770-2gb
16ram
i7 4771
50/50 net.

----------------------------------

I can only say to people still messing with the vsynch,,here is the right solution for me..and I guess you also :

Set halfrate Vsync ingame setting. and Antialiasing to OFF..

Add MXGP2 to Nvidia Control panel and go to Vertical sync. set it to ADAPTIVE:

There you will have a 60FPS game as normal.

---------------------------------------------

60hz monitors . 1920x1080.

... If you have 4 K or 144hz monitors etc the FPS might be higher.

for those having 100fps with similar PC rig as me is only having wobbling background and maybe a horizontal line flicker when turning etc in gameplay,if they are seeing it it can be seen .

normal in game FPS for 1920x1080 is 60FPS and not 100fps wich u will gain nothing from ...

unless using higher rigs as 4k or 144hz monitors......

** notice in this MXGP2 even with a steady 60fps the game still has its cornerbugs, fps drops, "chicken wing riders" and glitches...its not a pc fault its development and portedgame fail **

This changed nothing for me. Also, I do have a 144hz monitor.

Computer an i7 2600k and a GTX Titan.

My problem isn't with low fps or fps drops, I haven't noticed anything like that.
It's that the way they did the keyboard controls just suck.
