Cross-Platform with switch?

The store page says its a cross-platform game but can't find any info on what other platforms it works with. Would love to buy 2 copies for my niece and nephews' switch to play with while I'm on PC

so how it went? did you manage to coop with cross platforms?

I can't find more than a slight reference to it. Not really sure how that would work, but it "should".

I found out that Xbox version does not support online multiplayer, so I'm not sure about other platforms

The Couch Edition (consoles version) does not have online multiplayer, unfortunately.

Yes, the couch edition is local multiplayer only.
