ShareX vs Snagit?

I've used Snagit[www.techsmith.com] for years. I love its features and ease of use (such as ability of automatic screen scrolling).

Does ShareX offer anything different or do anything better than Snagit?

Well, I mean... It's free. So there's that.
I'm not sure what all Snagit can do, but from the sounds of things, it might be a tad bit more feature rich in some regards than others, and lacking in others.

Personally, I'd vouch for ShareX, mostly because it's exactly $0.00. No question. Open-sourced, free software.
