Is there anyway to set a certain dimension for recording/gifs?
For creating GIFs for steam artwork showcase.
Right now I have to drag the cursor to try and get a specific resolution, it's very annoying.
I can do it for screenshots, but can't find a way to do it for recording video and GIFs

In Task settings - Capture you can set a "Pre configured region", then you can create a hotkey that does recording using that region. You don't have to set actual key to the hotkey, it will be available in Workflows.

Fixed size region mode?
I did that already and put the resolution at the bottom of the window, but it only triggers when I choose to capture screenshot.

These are the options I have in workflow:

Capture region
Capture entire screen
Capture active window
Start or stop screen recording using custom region
Start or stop screen recording (GIF) using custom region

I've tried both last options, but it doesn't start with a pre configured region like in screenshot capture.
Is custom region/pre configured region the same?

I've also tried to add workflows, but everything is just greyed out and non clickable when I try it

Oh I figured it out :)
I have added it to workflow now.

But .. Only problem is that now it starts recording instantly.
Isn't it possible to be able to move the recording area around with the mouse, instead of having to set specific destination in the menu? That's how it works in screenshot, and that's how I would like to use it with screen recorder
