ShareX
Capture > Screen Recording: File size too large
Everytime I run Capture > Screen Recording, if the recording of about 400x400 is left running for more than 40 minutes the ShareX Stop/Abort buttons become unclickable and a Command Prompt box with a streaming show of KB's starts running but the ShareX file becomes corrupt.

I have the same issue, it's a shame that the ShareX devs are presumably inactive.

I've tried to figure it out, but it's certainly random now. I've had it say so after running for a minute and I've had an hour and a half not give me a "too large" error. I've looked through settings and there is just no reasoning. I was using it for months without problems and then they ran an update and it's broke. It's like someone paid them to break ShareX.

I have the fix for this if you haven't found it.
1
Download
https://github.com/rdp/screen-capture-recorder-to-video-windows-free/releases/download/0.12.10/Setup.Screen.Capturer.Recorder.v0.12.10.exe

2
Run as admin

3
Go to task setting in Sharex, screen recorder, screen recording options

4
Change FFMpeg path to
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Screen Capturer Recorder\configuration_setup_utility\vendor\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe" (this is my location, yours may be different if you installed to a diff location or on 32 bit pc)

5
Make sure your audio source is set to your stereo mix, not the newly created one from steps 1and2
