My PC detected a VIRUS

I don't know what happen but my Anti virus detect a Virus. Imma send the mods i had. DO NOT INSTALLED!!!!

What happen is that my Anti Virus detected a Virus on the Gmod files.

The path where the Anti Virus detected smt : D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64\gmad.exe

I unistalled Gmod and got Rid of all my mods and the files.

I SAY AGAIN TO NOT INSTALL ANY OF THE MODS ON THE COLLECTION I SENDED

**I know Gmad.exe is not a VIRUS, what i'm saying is that my Anti-Virus detected smt in that path. Stop telling me that it a false position. I had friend that also got the Anti-Virus alert when they download the mods**

I had no issue with the mods until today my PC detected Gmad.exe as a virus

that is mosty a false positive, gmad is a extractor of addons for the game

Well it weird. It happen today. Last time i open Gmod was 2 Day ago i think. And my PC froze for like 2 second. After my Anti-Virus tell me he detected a Virus. When i went to look i saw it was on Gmod. I unistalled the game and fille and addon and did the post.

the mods you shouldn't download i have some of them installed and i have no problem so its not all of them

The only thing that is weird is the Gmad.exe Files.

Maybe your pc can't handle the game? I remember back in 2013 my PC was unable to run GMOD (GT 730).

GT 730 is above the minimum requirements for the game.

It is also above the recommended GPU

I got a 1080 TI don't think it has to do smt with my PC. I just think one of the mods is infected

Your anti virus should locate the exact file that have virus.
Check that maybe ?

But no i was using Microsoft defender. It really only told me it was in this path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64\gmad.ex
