is there a mod that improves rebel ai?

the headcrabs break and get stuck in the canister, they dont attack people and if i manually pull them out they just clip into the floor

Well half life resurgence is a pretty good mod it comes with NPC's from half life 1 and 2 and even has some custom npc's although it does require VJ base, however something you should know is that the base gmod npc's are quite limited by the maps you are using because many maps DO NOT HAVE NODE GRAPH'S and without a node graph the NPC's are severely limited in their movement, additionally node graph's and nav meshes should not be confused as nav meshes are used by nextbots and you can run nav_generate in console to create nav meshes however this will often crash the game on older pc's or on large maps, while you cannot automatically generate node graph's a lot of good map's do come with them.
