Summer sale is right around the corner, and I am planning on getting this bad boy. I see the community is active, but is the game as it used to be?

Also, what games do you recommend to get for Garry's Mod full potential?

Depends if you have friends or not who enjoy it. I gets boring when you have no one to play with. Very easily.

But hey years ago used to play this a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with dark rp since i was a kid and all XD. Idk if you have alot of time on your hand try some gamemodes (Dont suggest darkrp or any rp. Its cringe).

Multiplayer sandbox and learning stuff like making vehicles with working steering and suspension are the reasons why ive been playing this game since I was 9 years old lol. There's basically a limitless amount of content to engage with. Even if the playerbase isn't as large as it was in 2013 and 2014, its still an incredible game you'll love.

1) in a short, you should buy it, the game is truly fun to play
2) buy all source half-life games(including half-life source) and counter strike source for better experience and a bit wider array of content

The game is still the same meme it has always been just updated and beautiful, I think its best with other players always. Personally RP servers are my favorite since player interaction is what makes this game unique and fun.
