It is a good idea to play HL2 campagin with 1047 mods active?

(If you don't know, you can play levels from Half-Life 2 and episodes in GMod if you have HL2 and EPs mounted)

The only problem I currently see is that any playermodel is going crazy once I move to another location

Unless you have an ssd, it will probably be more time loading than actual gameplay.

It takes 7,5 minutes to load for the first time and around 5 minutes for all subsequent map loadings

In general, if you have 200+ add-ons (being generous with that number) then your gmod ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed especailly when it's gameplay-altering add-ons.

Well, I stumbled on mod conflicting issues and game-breaking errors, so gmod is really getting unstable in my hands (as well as any other game, because I like to overload games with mods and user-created content)

you really dont need 1047 mods, uninstall the ones you dont use / barely use and improve your loading times and ingame fps
