Gmod terrible screeching noise

So just a couple minutes ago I was playing gmod and the last time i loaded up Gmod there was this horrible screech whenever I did anything and its so unbearable like when I shoot or walk or really anything this absolutely unbearble screeching noise happens and it doesnt happen in any other game just gmod what do i do

so the screeching has stopped idk why it was doing that but i guess it was a glitch sorry for wasting your time

tf2 is doing that to me every time i get a crit or die, prob because of custom sound files i put in got corrupt
