Hidden Source: A half life 2 mod free and really fun needs more players

Hello, i'm not a dev or an advertisement I just wanted to bring awareness there's this really cool game called Hidden: Source they updated it to be easier to install (yes its safe ive checked it multiple times with programs while installing/installed or I recommend it)

Its an old half life 2 mod with asymmetric gameplay with one hidden and however many survivors. The hidden is invisible with a knife and a leap, the survivors have different classes of weapons and gadgets. Its completely free its 1.8gb for the installer and then 5gb for the full download on steam for a total of 7gb (its not a steam game just uses steam files since its a source mod.)
Warning: Servers are dead play with friends 2-6 create your own servers

How to install

Go to the hidden: Source website it looks like its from the early 2000's

Download the Glee's hidden source installer (its community made and what i mentioned being safe earlier)

it will ask for permission from windows to run as a unknown program, mark let it run

It will open up CMD and install some required files like Source SDK Base 2006 and Hidden: Source Enhanced
(it takes a couple of minutes, it feels long) make sure steam is closed and if you have sdk base make sure to uninstall it

Once it downloads you can open steam then search in your library Hidden or Source until you see the new game with no image

When/if you try to run it and it says "write error" (drive location) steam - manifest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
it means you have to turn read only off for that steam folder so the game can download fully.

What you do is go to whatever drive the steam is on that the game downloaded too, ex cdrive go to steam on programx86 - steam then go to properties and unmark read only

if the game is on d-drive steam then open up the properties for the d drive steam and do the same thing un mark read only

After you have let it unmark read only for the properties on the steam folder you can click play hidden source enhanced and it will start to run a download on steam for 5-7gbs.

After it installs you should be able to play right away and create a server or join a server near you there is only like 4 and they have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of latency so play with friends.
