Garry's Mod Performance In Windows 11
So, after downloading the new windows 11 i was fine. but when i redownloaded gmod there was a difference.. Mainly that, i went from 60fps high graphics, to 15 fps lowest graphics. WTF?? Pro tip: dont download w11 if you play gmod constantly.:steamthumbsdown:

Windows 11 isn't much different from windows 10. I read it's good for people who multitask a lot

I don't really know, i just went back to windows 10, its not worth it even trying it out cause you have to erase everything when downgrading.

They also make it a pain to make things like Google Chrome work properly. It's not worth it for how many grey hairs it gives you

A tad late to the discussion, but have you figured out which is better? I have a crappy laptop that came with windows 11 and I constantly have to down all the graphical settings for the game to run at least at 40 frames. Everything takes a very long time to load and stutters a lot. It's the main game I play so I was curious if windows 10 is better for that. (And most likely other source games)

Your laptop is likely just underpowered, most are unless they're expensive gaming laptops
