This game is too outdated, its time to play something new

why do people keep playing this game? I feel like maybe it was good almost 10 years ago but its so old now and barely has anything to offer, unlike roblox for example, which is a better sandbox alternative. Roblox offers so much more creative freedom and has a bigger and better community. compare the games people made on roblox to gmod, its night and day. And im not telling everyone to start playing roblox but im saying theres no point to play this game anymore as its old, boring, and outdated, just play something else.

I don't get why you're so mad at Gmod. Like, you probably didn't even play the game, you just went in, did what you wanted, and then left. Gmod is all about using your imagination. If you want, create a giant poster. If you have friends, set up a roleplay server. The community here isn't perfect, but there's a part that's not so bad either.

Yeah the game's engine is outdated and it's pretty limiting and buggy with what you can do with it, but I wouldn't say it's boring, there's fun to be had. For me boring games tend to be Telltale games.
