Roblox Studio Models: First, you need to get these models from Roblox. You can save these models as files on your computer.
Sketchfab Models: Download the models from Sketchfab to your computer as well.
Step 2: Get Your Models Ready for GMod
1. Convert Models to a GMod-Friendly Format
Roblox Models: Roblox uses its own special format for models. To use these models in GMod, you need to change them into a format GMod understands, like .obj or .fbx. You might need a tool called a converter to do this. One popular tool is Blender, a free 3D modeling software.
Here’s how:
Open Blender.
Import your Roblox model file.
Export it as .obj or .fbx.
Sketchfab Models: Sketchfab models are usually available in formats like .obj, .fbx, or .blend, which are compatible with Blender. Just import them directly into Blender.
2. Make Your Toys Moveable
In Blender:
Add Joints: You need to create a skeleton for your model. This skeleton will act like the bones in your ragdoll that let it move.
Create Armature: In Blender, you add something called an "Armature" (like a skeleton) to your model.
Bind Model to Armature: Attach your model to this skeleton so it moves with it.
3. Export as a GMod Ragdoll
Prepare for GMod: Once your model has a skeleton and is ready to move:
Export the model as a .fbx file from Blender.
Step 3: Put the Ragdoll Into GMod
Use a Tool Called “GMod’s Addon System”: You need to use a tool or a script in GMod to add your new ragdoll model.
Open GMod.
Use a program like “Crowbar” (a tool for converting models) to convert your .fbx into GMod’s format.
Add Your Ragdoll to GMod:
Place the converted model files into GMod’s “models” folder.
Use GMod’s tools to make sure your ragdoll works correctly in the game.
Step 4: Test and Play
Check Your Ragdoll: Start GMod and check if your new ragdoll model is there.
Play Around: Test how it moves and flops. If it doesn’t look right, you may need to go back and adjust things in Blender.
i put the model in models folder, Yet it doesn't appear, I tried creating a folder to put in models but it still didn't appear
