I hope Nintendo is proud of themselves for ruining ours lives

I had so much planned for my Gmod pictures, and the fact that Nintendo practically forced Steam to just remove every Nintendo related addon in the workshop just pisses me off so much. I wanted redeem my Splatoon fan fiction story after I finally got over my three year depression, and now that I just found out about this, I can't do that anymore because those addons got removed, and I hate that so much.

And, yeah, I get it. I still hold the memories of my stories/fan fiction universe and my characters in my heart so I can just find other means to recreate that part of my life. So it's not entirely a huge loss, but I hate that I got robbed like this. So annoying.

Well. If you're smart enough, you will probably download their stuff outside of the Steam workshop. If people were smart enough, they would actually download their stuff outside of the Steam workshop. Yes, I know that it's not convenient to do, but you'll eventually get used to it.

Although I do agree that Nintendo is possibly one of the scummiest game corporations out there, and they do not care about their fans one bit, but its not a life-ending event. There are plenty of archives and plenty of other ways of gaining lost mods. Reuploading Nintendo content on the workshop will only result in tighter moderation, and a possible shut down of the Garry's Mod workshop if Nintendo decides to sue, like they almost always do. Nintendo is just being Nintendo at this point, always crushing the little guys. Regardless, I heavily suggest you check out some of the archives. They have a lot of the old nintendo addons.

My concern is that Nintenblow might force FacePunch to actively disable the addon directory support, or if going the nuclear option, force Valve to to remove this game off Steam all together.

removing Gmod is a VERY risky move to pull and i think it would not be worth it in the end for them

i only recently downloaded a few mario addons a week before the nintendo fiasco, i only will care if they become lost media or something
