y'all have problems, calling eachother names, saying nintendo has rights, saying they don't, i know nintendo isn't a good company, but you think i care, no, i don't, don't say im a nintendo defender, i disagree what nintendo is doing right now, but come on, all of this bickering wont help anything, it'll only make it worse, i usually do what sunnyV2 does and ignore the mess, but this is getting out of hand, if the nintendo ragdolls are going down, dont worry, people have archived the models and maps, they'll just reupload it when the heat dies down, dont worry if the content you made is gone, it'll return, you just need to wait, and this controversy to me, it isn't the worst one i've seen, since i'm a fnaf fan, i know what true controversy is like, so take my words into consideration and calm down, fighting will only make things worse, if you had those addons, just be civil and reupload them, if you have them archived of course, all i'm saying is that all of this bickering wont make things better, and i had a rage fit on one discussion, and well, this will be my true response, just reupload the addons and forget this mess even exists, easy as that, thanks for hearing my honest and true words

The only massive debate that everyone cries and complains about is "who is responsible for it", which is why everyone's being overly dramatic about it. It's natural for people to hate Nintendo (Good games, Bad corporation), but at the same time, the community is looking for someone to blame by highlighting a "troll" or a "hacker", and yet no one can pin down or reveal who it actually is. People say "Aaron Peters" did it, and yet we don't even have proof this is a real person in the first place. Therefor, this debate is the primary cause for the endless complaining and ranting.

Best to pick your own side OR just let it play out like it is now, as it'll die off sooner or later. People are archiving them, so no need to whine about it. I honestly find this entertaining really, as I get to watch people argue over senseless/baseless things on the internet.

i may put context from one of mat pat's old videos (he'll be missed) he said in a smash ultimate theory that galeem represents nintendo while dharkon represents the toxic fans, and that master hand and crazy hand are the hands of the smash bros series creator, sakurai, a creator and fan of the nintendo characters, he even said that the nintendo characters cant be owned and their a fusion of their creators and how they were created and how the fans love them, they are spirits in their purest forms, to have fun and use your imagination, not products to be fought over, the fake characters master hand fights are the worst version of the characters collected in adventure mode. as he that the hand we fought are the creator's hands fighting fan toxicity and greedy cooperate demands, the hands are the creator's, sakurai is the creator and fan, letting go of the characters to be how they were meant to be: fun, joy, and imagination, as mat pat said sakurai (master hand and crazy hand) are trying to protect the characters from greedy cooperate demands and fan toxicity, so the only thing sakurai (master hand and crazy hand) can do is set them free

I think the biggest reason this caused such a reaction is Nintendo just broke 20 years of status quo for Garry's Mod. For years we never had to worry too much about DMCA here so we ended up having this sense of security here. I do find it silly Nintendo would go out of their way to attack a niche area of gaming especially one they have no interest in getting into, but the suites operate in a completely alien world.
