The Truth about the Death of Nintendo addons

As we all know as of the current CHAOS right now,
Many nintendo addons have begun getting banned off the workshop for no reason at all.

FOUR theorys have so far risen highly
1. Its not nintendo and is someone sabotaging
2. Nintendo falsly sending DMCAS to steam.
3. A single email that fooled facepunch.
4. Nintendo is doing this to protect their image.

For now everyone is NOT Happy, even i am!
Hopefully soon everything will work out but for now steam has believed this chaos is a giant misunderstanding and has banned everything that has the word "Mario" in it.

But why? WHY? EVEN AFTER 20 YEARS? Nintendo was ok intill they snapped and started sending it!!1!

The following Youtubers and Steam Creators will be affected by this:

For now NO mario or anything for now, i hope the chaos ends soon.

My own personal theory this started with Aaron Peters who escalated things to the point Nintendo took notice and dropped the nuke on the workshop. Facepunch is just covering their asses, but I have doubts they'll actually enforce this Nintendo addon ban for the long term.

because we would need everyone to counter this Aaron Peters, I find it too far what he did because imagine that it would be even worse if he attacked the Sega models in workshop

Whether or not it's a legitimate DMCA or not , at the end of the day it's trademark content what do you expect.

People may forget that IP's is a risk to take when ripping models.

Exactly, probably part of why s&box doesn't have even valve assets in order to move away from the whole atmosphere of meme game and to have it's own art style, it's too much of a legal nightmare.

I forgot that Garry made a spiritual successor to Gmod, not fan of it but honestly the entire fact that gmod works better when you legally own Valve's Source games is an exemple that at the end of the day even Gmod is an extention of an already existing licence.
