Primarily because of "Beatrun" which is a paid mod that utilizes copyrighted animations while also blocking people in Eastern Europe, and even went as far as to include an IP logger for people who buy the "free" version of the mod.

If it's the one from GitHub, you're safe. That one doesn't include the IP logger and is maintained by another individual (I forget their username).
