About the current version of Garry's Mod.

Yea yea yea, I know that I've talked about the old Garry's Mod versions (sorta). The old versions had the convenient Toybox system that was replaced with the Steam Workshop in the latest version of Garry's Mod (AKA Gmod 13), but we do know that some of the Toybox weapons, models, maps and ENTs (NPCs too) are salvaged on the Steam Workshop for nostalgic purposes.

I do know that I've missed about the old Garry's Mod times A LOT, cuz I've only got the Steam version in 2018. Heck, even there was garrysmods(dot)org that hosted old addons for older versions of Garry's Mod which was still working back then. Nowadays, that website just redirects us to the Steam Workshop, marking the old addons to be the Lost Media.

With that out of the way, I am asking to myself: "Is the latest version of Garry's Mod worth to play?". To answer my question, definitely. Wanna know why?

Because of the Steam Workshop support, which you can load addons without having to quit the game, even enable/disable them. It is also easier to share dupes, saves and demos, even they introduced the addon collections for your convenience, and most of the addons do work on the current version of Garry's Mod.

And lastly, the FNaF era of the Garry's Mod community was really something, since it introduced TONS of people to that game back then.

And I do still like Garry's Mod and I always play it!

Indeed! It was created waaay back in 2004 as a mod for HL2.
The Steam version was released in 2006.
