PLEASE Stop flooding the Gmod workshop with "Nextbots"

Literally the ENTIRE point of this post is that I WANT Nextbots, Nextbots are amazing.
Nextbots ARE A TYPE OF AI, Nextbots are not LOUD PNGS, most of these "Nextbots" ARE NOT Nextbots.

Due to the people who haven't actually read any of this and are just talking about stuff I never even said in the comments, here's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ summary I guess.
A. A Nextbot is a special type of AI from CSS which quickly spread to many other valve games due to how good it was. In my opinion, CSS AI do be some of the absolute best (regular, non-chat GPT) AI I've ever seen. Most of the loud PNGs currently on the workshop are NOT Nextbots.
B. By searching for the most popular/most subscribed addons, at least a few of them will be related to Nextbots and have come out in the past several years. By searching for the most popular addons with the tag "Nextbot" - didn't check Most Subscribed but oh well - Over half of what is on the page will almost certainly not be an actual Nextbot, and also have almost no effort actually put into it.
and C. The overwhelming majority of kids consuming these terrible ass Nextbots are a shared community with Skibidi Toilet, and I'm not going to get into that, but I think you get my point. A (rather badly) stretched out picture of Obama with fake-Nextbot-AI and low-quality sounds should NOT be as popular as it is. This "Nextbot" WAS more popular on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Roblox than Gmod, until people who liked it on Roblox started using it here.

I do rather enjoy Richter Overtime (Youtuber) videos. I think he quite well summed up exactly my reasons for hating modern Nextbots. Y'see, as far as I'm aware, Nextbots were first ported to Gmod in the form of VJ Base and Sanic somewhere around a decade ago. They died off for the most part, though I believe a small but passionate community enjoyed them for years.

Now, basically, some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass Roblox developer made a Roblox game ripping off Gmod's Nextbots specifically, rather than the actual AI associated with Nextbots - Nextbots are not exclusively loud PNGs, if you somehow haven't already noticed, and also would be an extreme pain in the ass to entirely recreate in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Roblox. Watch Richter Overtime's video for a more in-depth dive.

Not only has this attracted a rather large community of (mostly small children) to our game of people who port Roblox's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass "Nextbots" to Gmod - Many of which are classic Nextbots which are quite literally already their own Gmod addons (this really needs to stop, it's literal content theft) but also the overwhelming majority of these people have no idea what Nextbots actually are or how spectacular they can be when used correctly. Instead, they're just pasting the absolute cheapest AI they can make onto low-quality images and adding some earrape to go along with it.

Just look at something like Gargitron or The Terminator, those are Nextbots. Look at CSS, which invented Nextbots, and in which the bots can jump, crouch, land headshots, climb ladders, camp, communicate verbally with both the player and eachother, and more.
Now look at something like Obunga. This Nextbot uses an awfully made meme, awfully made sounds, and terrible ass AI (doesn't matter whether it's actually a Nextbot or not, it's AI is still garbage) - In true Roblox fashion.

Obunga might or might not have originated in Gmod, I'm too lazy to check, but regardless, Obunga is hot wet garbage which has been posted to the Gmod workshop at least 400 times - and that's just the default version, on it's own. This is a perfect example of the kind ♥♥♥♥ we need to not have even one version of.

Nowadays, when you look at the most subscribed Gmod maps, guess what you'll see?
Well, let's just say a lot of them are maps people like to play around with Nextbots on.

Lets search for the term "Nextbot" - which, Nextbots were almost certainly invented before Gmod was even ported to steam - and go to the most popular of all time. Of the 30 that'll immediately pop up, over half will involve ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rancid "Nextbots", some of which are even the exact same "Nextbots" multiple times, and AT LEAST two of which are massive ass packs of these terrible-ass "Nextbots" - and, whats more, I can almost guarantee at least 2/3rds of it is from 2021 or later, though I'm too lazy to individually check every single one.

And, finally, I wanted to mention how suspicious it is that someone like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Skibidi Toilet, whose channel revolves almost exclusively around toilet humor, probably wouldn't have gotten any-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-where near as much traction if a bunch of Roblox Squeakers weren't already on Gmod, messing around with similarly terrible ♥♥♥♥♥.

PLEASE Stop doing this, you're oversaturating the workshop with unoriginal content, most of which only gets away from lying to it's subscribers on the technicality that most of the posters don't know their posts aren't original, and a ♥♥♥♥ of a lot of which doesn't get away with lying because the people damn well know where their content came from and don't bother to credit the original authors.

None of this stuff should be here anyway. If you wanna enjoy Gmod, fine - but maybe enjoy your stuff not even the prop-hunt 9 year-olds would want to touch - well, maybe somewhere that is not, in fact, Gmod?
And maybe stop lying about the "Nextbots" you're posting while you're at it?

its purely subjective honestly, i get your points but low quality content will be low quality content, it will always be there on any platform alot of "Young kids" you mentioned have adhd which requires a higher level of stimulation to feed their brains, same reason why content farms are so successful. nextbots are terrifying and they always will be, Theres a thrill in there of getting hunted down by one. Plus you can avoid them simply by? not searching them up, you dont see nextbots on the front page anymore. You see different addons, plus if there wasnt a big group of enjoyers of nextbots, nextbot videos wouldnt have millions of views and there wouldnt be hundred of addons.

That is true, however my point still stands of "Simply not searching it up" Steam has some parent restrictions and there was a mass nudity ban on the workshop a while ago, you can only find NSFW models if you explicity search for it, garrys mod isnt "Made" for children but the mass consumer base is Children as you said. Even if they found a NSFW model all Models have a WARNING in them saying its NSFW and no images showing NSFW ( for obvious reasons ) Most children that play gmod are around 7-14 years old, By that time they will have enough brainpower to simply, not download it? I'd rather not talk about this, back to yours and mine point. As i said, simply dont search it up. Even the original sanic addon is as bad as all the reuploads as in your point. There low quality PNG's chasing eachother, has anyone had a problem with that? the original author? No. plus the image wasnt even his if im correct, and he didint give credit. Hes as bad as the reuploaders. Nobody has a problem with nextbots because at this point they ARENT even nextbots, they may use a navmesh but as you said there not even close to CSS nextbots, this arguement is pointless because its only you here, its not like skibidi toilet ( which, i also have the same arguement for ) A decent amount of those addons have backdoors and flashers, and alot of children download them. Plus there stolen from a contentpack of a user that requires payment to get. While im not saying you should diss on skibidi toilet, multiple people have, its a war at this point. You should rather turn your attention to it, its a much bigger problem due to the fact its flooding the workshop with stolen content, Which may i remind you actually pops up without searching it up explicity.
