garrysmods.org now redirects you to steam workshop?

Can somebody tell the owner of this website to not redirect us to steam workshop pls?

I think the site has met its untimely demise and is offline permanently. Or perhaps it is just down for maintenance but here is a post from august about this.

It is bad enough that GModfiles.org shut down, then Garrysmod.org had its database nuked, then now it looks like Garrysmods.org is gone. I fear that it has been shut down. So much custom content is now lost forever as there is absolutely no backup of the content. just the websites. If it is one thing that hits me hard, and that is when history is destroyed.

Seeing it redirects rather showing the usual sale pages/url parked pages/or your browsing throwing an error suggesting diagnosing internet. The server that runs the site has to be somewhat operational for the URL to even have a purpose like that. We'll have to just sit and wait to really confirm.
You can see that 2 of the urls you listed just go to error pages like one about "If you are the owner of this website, please contact your hosting provider" and the other being the error message your browser throws.

For me Gmod files says this:
Hmmm… can't reach this pagegmodfiles.org’s server IP address could not be found.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS settings.
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

Perhaps garrysmods.org has a chance to be still alive but due to an issue the site has to be temporarily brought offline for a few months to resolve problems.

I hope you are right on with that, because we lost 2 other GarrysMods sites already. I heard there is a Gmod Archive, so perhaps that may be of use for the time being.

Well, I have one thing from garrysmod.org, the HoverScooter I downloaded a while back and backed it up before I reset my PC
