engine error

when i try to load a map after loading in the game crashes and gives me an empty error window named engine error i tried verifying files and restarting steam PLS HELP I CANT PLAY GAME :(((

if you are just starting this game, you can try to delete the whole gmod folder and then verify the game files. this will delete everything you have ever done in gmod if you have done anything, but it should be fine if you haven't done anything.

but this also seems like a bigger issue. since the source engine is used for multiple valve games, it could mean that all valve games you have could have the same issue, which could be unresolvable.

or it could mean your PC is too underpowered, List your PC specs.

just realized it happens when im loading a specific save other saves work

i have gtx 1660 ti 16 gb ram and i7 9th gen so i dont think its my pc

What I do is exit steam and restart my PC

im gonna try loading another save on a different map

Although, a 115 gb Acer laptop might be different than most gaming computers

I'm not even sure if i have RAM :P

lol but that doesn't surprise me i played gmod without a graphics card a few years ago :D

your specs seem ok, it could be conflicting addons or just a problem with the custom map in general.

watermelon turtle all computers pc or laptop have ram.

I'm not a pc geek! All I know is that my laptop sucks, and I don't even have the storage to run TF2. :)

cause other maps work

or maybe i had some addon in the save i was trying to load

I think its just the save is broken cause other saves aon that map work
