anyone get engine errors when loading maps

i didnt get a change to read the error but i crashed out and got an engine error from an old stable workshop map, anyone know how i can fix my stuff? validation dosnt work and its a new install of the game

Even though it is a new install and validation passes, it could be mods. Definitely check all your mods, maybe disable one, go into game to test, disable another one, go into game to test.

ive got like 2k to run past so rn im uninstalling a fair few, should work after a while tho

2K mods is pushing the old source engine quite a lot. No matter how good your PC may be the engine has limits. Just nuke anything you do not remember the last time you played with and that should lower the number.
