Gmod is hard and confusing ( for me )

So i just bought the game and have 0 clue what to do and how to do. Please if you can give me a small tutorial i will be really thankfull

you just spawn stuff, download mods, play with people and have fun.

i recommend find atleast 1 friend to play with, gmod alone is pretty boring but with a friend it becomes 1000X times funnier

Hold Q to see the spawn menu in which you can spawn stuff including props, ragdolls, effects, and a bunch more. On the spawn menu if you look to your right you find a set of random actions to do with the tool gun. You can use the tool gun to duplicate, remove, rope, add buttons, and more. I hope this helped.

the game has a description on the steam store if you read it you'll be enlightened with knowledge that garry's mod is a sandbox and there are no objectives, you do what you want in it.

I have friends :D just we all don't know what to do and they made me ask the question to the community (sadly), but thanks for the oppurtunity that you offer me

I don't think you're at the hardest part in the game yet.

(there's a big boss fight with garry which it says in the gmod manual)

You gotta look up for a black figure in gm_construct, or just wait until it appears. Then, make a post in the gmod discussion forums with the following title: "Black figure in gm_construct". In such a post, you have to tell us that you experimented a paranormal activity and the game is haunted and scary. Finally, someone with reply with "oh god just one of those posts again".

I don't think anything else can be done in this game. Hope this helps you.
