Released in 2008. Still usable and valve doesn't care about it which means I guess it doesn't count as a hack. You can also cheat hours with this, get a thousand hours on a game without the game itself running, just leave sam running for like a week.

I guess achievements by themselves mean nothing. Even that rare achievement that your friend has now. And I guess that means unless you prove your hours, hours have lost value, this is probably how "It's Ok" reviews with thousands of hours are made.

Pretty much it allows to select a game (which fools steam into thinking the game is ran) than you can checkmark the achievements and apply them, here is a screenshot, and no, he did not have Garry in his server.

And yes, you may see that GMOD is now at the top row of the Recent Activity section of my profile, that is from running that to take a screenshot. Not the game.
