What is Multiplayer Like?

Hey guys! I've only really messed around with GMOD to take some mediocre screenshots with ragdolls from valve games or other workshop models. I was curious about multiplayer for this game, what's it like and what's popular? Thanks in advance for anything that helps!

Depends on gamemode and server. It can vary from the most chill place on the planet inhabited by very polite people to cesspool of degenerates.

If I had to say, probably something like TTT and prop hunt I guess. I've never really been a fan of rp stuff, and I saw lots of that in the multiplayer server browser.

same with the rp thing
theres one called murder (practically another TTT but less complex never played these though) with one called homicide which claims to be a better version of murder if you are looking for the murder mystery type of games

Thanks! I’ll be looking into some of these later. Hopefully I get lucky with servers. I hope for the best, but it’s still the internet after all lol

Every gmod server depends on it's community, especially moderation part, Like if there's a bad admin, my dude just gtfo from this server, this place is already hostile to people with common sense like you, Or if there's nice moderating but bad people, the server becomes more balanced as baddies often get what tehy deserved, if both are fine, then the server becomes a nice chill place, well, there also may exist mf's who post pornography content into chat or apply as sprays around the map in the most obvious places.
