stop supporting RP in gmod

I've been playing gmod for years, and I still remember the good old days when the only RPs in the multiplayer list was Darkrp and some afghanistan rp, both really non serious and people who didnt care about a VIP or didnt care about crying for rdm and friendliness, now gmod is basically populated by butthurt nerds who took rp to an other level and polluted gmod with their unoriginal servers that are all carbon copies but that somehow manage to have 70 daily players or more.
when I bought Gmod there were a lot of gamemodes that were played by the majority of the community:
-TTT
-Prophunt
-Murder
-Smash
-Pirate ship wars
-Extreme football throwdown
-sandbox
and more

the main "gamemodes" now(they're not gamemodes, they are just servers filled with addons and some plugins, I could literally host a server, add the puke/piss addons and some playermodels and call it hangover rp) are:
-darkRP
-starwarsrp
-militaryrp
-nazigermanyrp
-kingdomrp
-hogwardsrp
-scprp
-halfliferp
-policerp
-falloutrp

you must be one of these gamemodes server owners to say that these gamemodes are original.

what's worse is that the rp community is just rotten now, because from those innocent and really not serious rps we ended up with:
-rps where you get kicked/banned for rdming a kid
-people who cry to the admin whenever you do something wrong, servers that take rp, like militaryrp, so seriously that makes me think that whoever plays them just cant experience that stuff for real and just attempts to take it in a videogame and forget that videogames =/= real life
-servers with tons of fun limiting rules because RP is a job, not a game..
-the NLR and the advert rules
-virgins who feel sad when you joke about sex because they will never experience it so they report you for erotic roleplay
-sensitive admins and furries who punish you for not family friendly jokes because kids may be playing in that servers, while having prostitute jobs and allowing people to kidnap and mass murder in pd raids.
-star wars fanboys who touch themselves to chupaka pictures and waste hours of their time walking around the map waiting for the admins to make events cause there's nothing to do

there is so much WRONG with rp that I dont even want to list all of that.

by not trying to renew gmod, we are condemning it and we are promoting unoriginal content and servers and killing the actual gamemodes, I know there's a lot of people like me who didnt buy gmod to pretend being a thief and reporting people for "ruining their immersion".
I HATE rp, gmod is supposed to promote originality, creativity and randomness, not this

... I dont RP in Gmod... but if you dont like what Gmod RP is right now why not make a server of your own? I never went for any of them for a mix of reasons above, but I'm not going to tell other people to stop having fun on their own terms.

Yeah same with me buddy,the only actual servers that i find with actual gamemodes are prop hunt and TTT,but barely any people or barely any server.

I'm thinking about making a server, but i dont want to waste money on it, secondly, RP is not fun, they're not having fun, they're pretending to be something they arent, that's all, you actually cant have fun by doing that kind of stuff

Welcome to the Dark Age of Roleplay, where nearly all the good, simple gamemodes are now slowly rotting out at the bottom of the multiplayer list, while the top is made up by a hivemind of totalitarian, police state-like RP servers populated by whiny, "hardcore" roleplayers who lose their ♥♥♥♥ if you don't treat it like an actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ job as they do. There are some really amazing new gamemodes that didn't even stand a chance against this unholy juggernaut which has taken over Garry's Mod, and while I acknowledge there are peeps who enjoy acting out their roles in whatever theme the server has for them, they also have to acknowledge not everyone wants to sit through some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ initiation process waiting for some higher-ranked player to arrive and walk them through; us simple folk just want to jump in and have fun.

Like people said here, RP isn't made to be fun, just to pretend to be something that they will never be, but that's kind of a good thing (in some way ??) to pretend/dream about something, right ? but right now there's too much of them, no need to have soooooooooo much RPKikooModes, cuz' it destroys everything, I remember a time where DarkRP was ♥♥♥♥ at first, now it's populated of braindead people or autistic ones tbh
