yet another jumpscare addon

just logged into gmod to go mass murder some combine and got jumpscared by a spooky demon boy, i dont know what the sound is because i didnt open the game i just hovered my mouse over the gmod on the taskbar and saw it, does anybody know what addon this is?

It's the Food SWEPs Pack, Realistic Player Speed and Smart Interaction addon. Unsubscribe from these and any other addons made by the creater of these addons (just to be safe) and then write "menu_cleanupgmas" in your console to make sure that they are gone.

The addons made by the user Guinea Pig / AirPuppy have been compromised. same as before. Screamer and Goatsee.

If you have any of the addons mentioned here, Proceed to wipe your workshop folder:

Realistic Player Speed
Smart Interaction
Food SWEPs Pack
[SRD] Base
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Detector Sweps V2
PCMod 15 [Fixed] + UPDATED

What these addons will do is at a random time after loading into the game (Typically 5-15 seconds) they'll put an overlay over your whole screen of a screamer alongside a loud screaming sound. Then they'll show an image of Goatsee (You don't want to see that.).

If you're affected here's what you need to do:
UNSUBSCRIBE FROM *ALL* YOUR ADDONS VIA THE UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ALL BUTTON
Then go to your Garrys Mod folder (generally in SteamApps) and delete the Workshop and Downloads folder. It's also recommended you delete Lua and Config and then verify the game's integrity by using Steam's Game Properties tab (Look up a tutorial on how to do this. It's easy.), It'll redownload the game's stock files so you might need to change a couple settings back but it's best to do this just in case the addon has managed to infect other files (Which I doubt but it pays to play safe.)

Yes, all of these three made by him. I don't think his other addons have jumpscares because he didn't updated those yet, but I wouldn't trust this guy after this. Also he keeps changing his username and custom steam id. I recommend you checking which addons are updated before launching the game if you wanna avoid potential scares in the future and be careful when subscribing to addons, you really can't trust anyone at this point lol.
