The Gmod Virus is back!

I was playing gmod until I loaded into a map. I was treated to an image similar to the June incident. The image said "enjoy" with the same June image but was censored with Barak Obama's face. The image also had a hand holding a piece of human feces.

I quit out the game imminently and logged out of everything on my pc. Does anyone know what to do now? Thank you!

its happened to my frend too, except with pp and poopoo and a screamer, just uninstall ur mods and if u can go into the files and wipe it from all the mods and id just wait and search what mods have been ''infected''

You can´t download $hit in GMOD nowdays without having some freaking malicious code on it.
Bruh why cant ya just code the addon and call it day as instead of fulling it with butt a$$ naked men screaming

For god sakes where the moderation of the workshop?
How can they let this type of thing slip by without a proper way to combat it?
Is so freaking dull.

They deleted the addon pretty shortly.
And there is ALWAYS a risk while downloading an addon.

And no,NO AMOUNT OF MODERATION is enough to prevent this.
There is a reason why report feature exist.

It's a simple Lua code executes when you open a game.
Not a virus or infection.
Deleting the corrupted file and typing "menu_cleanupgmas" is enough to delete almost anything and play safely.

But like i said,almost anything even the addons you just downloaded rn. Has a risk of updated with weird pictures or sounds.
But they can't hurt you nor your computer.
Deleting the addon is enough.

you see thats the problem we have no clue why we dont notice the viruses either way but why? this just pisses me off
