OK, First of all, GMOD came out in 2004, and Roblox came out in 2006. And yes, Roblox was being developed in 2004, but still. Steam never even knew what Roblox was back then, until it got released. Second, building is WAY WAY different than the building in Roblox. You have to build in Roblox studio, or in building games. In GMOD, you have a free sandbox-like world to build in.

Roblox was released in 2006. Gmod was released as a game in 2004. How is that copying if the game that is doubted of "copying" is older even than the "original" game? Roblox is a blocky game. GMod is a sandbox game. Well, there are some similarities, like they both use the Lua programming language, but GMod using it makes people that want to make add-ons for the game know easier and know more. There are some drastic differences. GMod uses Source engine, but I don't know what engine does ROBLOX use. I don't know honestly if you are a toxic child that is a CRAZY fan of ROBLOX, even though I play it, and it's fun, its one of my favorite games, you should not be angry just because an older-than-ROBLOX game in your opinion seems like it "copies" ROBLOX. If you think that is a "fact" for you, then keep it to yourself. Instead of hating on GMod you should play ROBLOX and have fun on some games or just play the game and have fun on both ROBLOX and GMod.

Well, it WAS a HL2 mod, now it isn't but it runs on the HL2 engine/source.
