Any good/classic Dark RP servers?

Been trying to find one and so far the only Dark RP servers I can find are either so filled with addons that force me to purchase job types with real money, or are just absolutely wild where there are 0 cops keeping the law and anytime someone tries to start a business 5 people run it before it's even started up and raid it. Any good ones left?

DarkRP isnt always the bst but if i had to say go for Superior Servers. Its a good RP server with a "debatable" fanbase but in all it isnt a bad server to try out.

My suggestion is to just make your own with your existent or not friends, people you can trust. There isn't any classic DarkRP servers around with a steady playerbase that I currently know of.

Nostalgia is pretty damn powerful and because of it I decided to launch GMod for the first time in a few years. To my disappointment there were no english DarkRP servers. Everything was either French or German.

I am the former owner of a once fairly large DarkRP server that recieved alot of praise from among others (FPtje the creator of darkrp himself, thank you for that) but I had to close it down due to personal time consumption. I am now sitting on the fence wondering if I should start my server backup and I will list some of the characteristics of it here:
-Limited rules (Mass RDM being an exception). RDM/Murder was to be handled på police and as a result prison times are much longer to compensate.
-Realistic economy. Prices and wages mirror those of reallife and as a result buying a pistol to commit RDM is something that you only get to do once if you dont intent on playing on the server for longer periods of time.
-No donation locked jobs or items. This is a huge dealbreaker for me back when I was playing DarkRP. I hate it and as a result my server never engaged in such activity (only cosmetics)

To measure the demand for such a server I have created a placeholder discord server which will be empty (for now). If the server can reach 50 members I will go ahead with the creation of the server by the end of this week, you can then expect it to be play ready sometime the week there after (I still have some of the old server files on a harddrive).

Thats the reason why I am creating the discord for a launch event to prevent the server from being dead on arrival. I am looking to work closely with the community in regards of the creation and management of the server. After all customer is king and the same applies for the playerbase

I like the sound of your idea better than most. I usually ask my pals if they want to scout around for a good Dark RP server and they always say no due to getting killed by raids as soon as we switch to shop owners or police, and then the admins back them up. I'll certainly keep an eye on your stuff.
