came back after i think idk 3 months and there was at most 80k on gmod at the time at peak hours and now there's only about 16k

what happened to everyone?

first of all, "only about 16k" not alot of games from 2004 still have that many players.

I think the drop in numbers may be because of people going out of quarantine.

Looking at steamcharts Garry mod always dies around october. Just started a server not expecting people till november december

yeah thats understanabld but like i said left for months and came back to a way smaller player base it was just weird to me
