Lowest Player Count In Gmod History 9/21/2021

I was doing what any good person would do and on a late boring night I went on the multiplayer tab and to see what weird crazy gamemode is in the list with no players and see what it is about!

As I was going to each one I couldn't help but notice the player count for servers/gamemodes that are at the "Top" like Superior, Icefuse, etc.
And saw that all there player counts were down, I was hmm thats weird I went to see that everyone has zero to none players in all gamemodes so I went to check what the player count was. Don't get me wrong it is 10:00 pm where I am but still 8354 players..........

What? I understand that gmod is a super old game and that S&Box is on the come up but still this is weird gmod has never dropped past 10000 players since there boom in 2012. My point of this is will gmod make it till S&Box? Is this just a off day that everyone is out beating there meat? Will gmod even survive once it moves to S&Box???

Honestly, I don't really even fully know but from what I guess, It's from the steam servers issue.

i couldn't log in at all yesterday, but my fav goto is ZS/ZE - it's all about the zombies. sometimes i wonder what all the other mods are about :P

I don't feel that is the case imo but it seems to be not the same I don't know if it was because everything was much simpler back then and nothing was so saturated, or if its because we are just older now.....

And here I was wondering why so few people played Deathrun a few days ago. It all makes sense now.
