Garry Newman, I feel like stole the idea of gmod.

Not only do I think he took the idea for this mod from someone else, he even took their name.

JBMOD, if you didnt know, and then here comes along garry "hey that looks cool i think ill take the idea since the author is still new to programming" and creates the exact same mod and calls it GMOD.

LOL, like it wasnt bad enough he took buddy's idea from him without a thanks or a acknowledgment, he has to add insult to injury and take the name too?

Then after his mod blows up and jbmod is left in the dust he gets hired into valve and then leaves to start his own company, face punch.

Wonder why he called it facepunch? Think its because he felt like he beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of jbmod, stole his ♥♥♥♥, and not only got away with it but gets praised for it too. I really wouldnt be shocked if he "borrowed" the idea for rust from someone else as well.

This world deserves to be purged by fire, i hope yall know. (Was in a dark place when I wrote this, I am sorry. I still feel the same way, but a mod can delete if they want, I wouldnt be offended.)

From what I hear, JBMod came before Gmod. Garry liked the idea but it had been a while since JBMod had been updated, so he made his own sandbox mod. Gmod ended up becoming more popular so I guess the JBMod creators were angry that a copycat mod was doing better. But that's their own fault.

If you don't take the opportunity, you will be set in last place. They had enough time to release and make a success, just they didn't. Garry took it on the chin and we got Gmod, if you don't release first, well, you'll struggle. And even if there was internal issues between the two, there's stuff like Copyright claims and preventions. But to be fair... You can't copyright a idea.
