Gmod crashes my GPU Driver

anyone else that has this error or is it just me

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti

Everytime i load the game it goes black and disconnects my GPU and switches it to my Low Budget Intel card

Restart PC
Verify Gmod files
Restart PC

Is it only on Gmod?

didn´t help
After the Black screen i stopped gmod and started it again its works but the GPU is inactive...
runs crappy with 10 FPS Max

Try running with no addons by adding -noworkshop -noaddons as parameters for the game. HowTo[wiki.garrysmod.com]
This will run the game as vanilla.

If that works, its an addon issue.

If not:
Backup any of the demos / saves / screenshots / videos / dupes (download(s)) folders that you want to save at Path/To/Steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/. Copy them to your desktop or wherever.

Uninstall Garry's Mod.
Delete the GarrysMod folder in Path/To/Steam/steamapps/common/ if it is not already deleted.
Reinstall Garry's Mod
Run the game to start with -noworkshop -noaddons.
If that works, take out the arguements and add the backed up files back to the garrysmod folder.
If not, I would suggest a reinstallation of Windows (Have you recently changed the GPU? If so, what from?).

Open up NVidia control panel, check your resolution. I can guarentee it will work. Make sure you're on the correct resolution.

Omg you saviour, I have been having this issue for literally 3 months, I have checked all the websites, sent my PC in for repairs (for another issue as well), I have reinstalled drivers like 4 or 5 times, I was even tempted to go into bios.
Thought it was a deep routed PC issue but nope just wanted to be in windowed...
