Derp TF2 faces tutorial?

It's been YEARS that I play Gmod and try to make those derpy-looking faces for some videos, but I always end up in making creepy or very bad quality stuff.
Is there a serious tutorial or some tips around here? For all this time I've only found old videos from 2010 and nothing seems to work .-.
