About the achievement labeled "Yes, I am the real Garry!"

Somebody told me that you should basically just check Garry's steam profile every so often, to see if he is playing Gmod, and to join him to get the achievement. But Garry has set his profile to private and there have been recent claims that he is on about ONCE a month, and therefore the achievement is 'impossible' to get.
My point/question is, how are us 'hardcore gamers' that like to get 100% of the achievement progress, going to get 100% if the achievement "Yes, I am the real Garry!" is next to impossible to get?

Sadly, it is true, the achievement is (almost) impossible to get. I heard Garry doesnt even play Gmod anymore, so it may be truly impossible. Achievements regarding meeting the devs of a game are never a good idea if you consider completionists anyway.

Its basically a cheat/hack program that can give you all achievements as far as I know.

Dunno, i'd suspect few hundred ppl got the cheevo less than half an hour ago without using SAM at all.

I imagine so. I just got this one myself and I'm pretty happy not using SAM :D
