Q menu and c menu not working

Hi um I need your help please. I got Garry's Mod recently and I need help with the Q menu and C menu please. When I play Gmod and press the Q to pop up the menu to spawn an entity or a ragdoll, I keep on cliking it it doesn't pop up. The same happens on the C menu. The only 2 ways I can pop up the C menu and the Q menu is this:

Q menu buttons: I some how discovered a new method of popping up the Q menu is pressing the FN key and F1 key that's the only I can spawn an entity.

C menu buttons: I also discovered a new method of popping the C menut s pressing the FN key and F9 key (the volume down key) I'm not sure what to do. I tried binding it with Q and setting my server cheats to 0 but it doesn't work. It says q is not a valid key.

well what kinda mouse do you have? touchpad? I had it happen to me with a touchpad and I had to disable a few settings to allow me to move the mouse while holding a button, don't remember what it is but you can probably find it easy on google

Fix binds...

when gmod first loads go into Options front page,
then on Keyboard tab see at bottom Use Defaults,
click use defaults, this will set all keys back to defaults.
You may need to re do binds but all default keys should work.

do you have Dlib? cause here on the consol said that dlib was making an error and i removed it and then it worked again

lisen j had a lot of adons and Q is work but C dont (j can open that wierd hud with C but if j click right click at objectc j cant np. change skin)

i have a problem with modern warfare weapons mod it just worked yesterday but now the playermodel changer and the attachments center dont work

This works for me, no touchpad clicking in q or c menu but if i press 1 i can now click suddenly. I have to press 1 Every time I open the menu to get it to work.
It's a gmod problem I think, I have very few addons and on dark rp servers the f4 menus work fine no problem
