Console won't open

So eveytime I plat GMOD console never opens I have console enable and the botton bound but still wont work. But it will work when I join a server

try clicking tab instead

This happens sometimes when you alt-tab while loading, just alt-tab again and it should work.

The console don't open in the main menu, you need to launch a map.
If you want to console to launch at start, put "-console" (without quotes) in the launch options.
