Red outline when I press e on an NPC.
So when ever I press e on an NPC it shows a red outline or glow and I don't wanna spend my time digging through my pile of addons to find the culprit. And this is my first discussion so I don't know where to post this.

Is there a way to do anything about it without having to disable or uninstall it?

No. It's included with the addon. It's a 'marking' ability that deals a small damage boost when the enemy is spotted.

Well at least I know what's causing it.

If you disable it and the red stops, you can be sure it's that addon. If you wanted to remove that, you could extract the addon with gmad.exe, open the Lua, figure out what part of the code causes the red, and chop it out. Gmod should use the extracted, edited folder version of the addon instead of the original .gma. If you bork the addon up, delete the extracted folder and it should go back to using the default .gma.
That's a lot to do. I was just gonna mess with the settings.

Yeah it is. But option is there.
And I appreciate that. I have also found out that I can disable spotting in this menu.

You could just change the spotting time to zero.
