Which one do you prefer and why? Which game can give you more hours of gameplay without getting boring?

Then Gmod is the ultimate sandbox, Minecraft is a survival game with revolutionary building and personalization mechanics.

Not the answer you were asking for, but it'd be awesome to have some type of MC/GMod mix. Or at least pull the nearly infinite MC world mechanic to GMod.
This game has always felt limited by the map sizes & buggy physics, plagues the sandbox gamemode.

i personally spent more hours on minecraft, but it's probably coz all my friends were playing it.

I think gmod gives you more sandbox tools but it's much more limited than MC. The maps feel small, graphics are outdated and can't be renewed even with mods due to the engine limitations, multiplayer downloads files and costs pc space, building is much harder. I like mc as a sandbox for creating things much more.

minecraft gives you more of an achievement and you feel like you have an objective more but gmod is always just that much more creative and imaginative
