How To Fix Missing Textures and Error Textures

I cant afford the games to fix it and I dont want to have to download the textures from some site lol its pretty annoying tho

Use SteamCMD. It's free and it's an offical program by Valve (it's literally a command prompt version of steam), and somehow completely legal.

Search up how to use SteamCMD to download game content.

skipping TF2 because it's a free game

Check the map/add-on's description. It may require it's own texture add-on or a shared one used by multiple add-ons. TF2 is also a free game that many add-ons use for textures.

This might also cause some missing textures. But most of them are from the game content.

Tbh the simpliest way is to search Garrys Mod css content and click on the semi first link it should have a video saying how to fix it along with a download link

Getting game content from buying the games or using SteamCMD is legal

Getting game content from any other service, website or otherwise is illegal and acting like it is a good idea will get you perma banned

If you want easy, buy the game
If you want free, use SteamCMD

1) Get steamCMD, https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD and put into a seporate directory.
2) Run SteamCMD, it'll self-update.
3) type "login anonymous"and enter.
4) type "force_install_dir ./CSS/" and enter.
5) type "app_update 232330" and enter.
6) wait for download.
7) create "CSS - Content" folder in "steam/steamapps/common/Garrysmod/garrysmod/addons"
8) copy all folders and CStrike_pak_* from "steamcmd/CSS/Cstrike" to the "CSS - Content" folder.
9) drag "Cstrike_pak_dir" onto "garrysmod/bin/vpk.exe"
10) wait for extraction.
11) move everything from the new "Cstrike_pak_dir" folder into "CSS - Content".
12) feel free to delete the Cstrike_pak_* files and the "Cstrike_pak_dir" folder to free up space, but you might want to keep the "SteamCMD/CSS" folder for updating in the future.

to update your CSS content, just do the same thing, to make sure that everything is definately up-to-date.
