I need to know how to factory reset GMod.

I have uninstalled every addon. I have unmounted and remounted every possible required game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled GMod. And I still get errors on even default maps. Yes, I mean gm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ construct. I need to wipe GMod and reset it. I need an answer.

Try this:

1: Unsubscribe from all your addons.
(You can make a private collection as a backup to resubscribe later.)

2:Go to your steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod folder.

3: Delete everything inside the game folder.

4: Go to Steam, under Library > Garry's Mod > Properties > Local Files.

5: Select "Verify integrity of game files."

6: Wait for it to finish. It should check for game files, and when it detects that there are no game files, it will redownload the game.

An extra step you can take that might help is to disable Steam Cloud sync with Garry's Mod. Select the Updates tab in Properties and uncheck the "Enable Steam Cloud syncronization for Garry's Mod." That fixed some problems I had.

Just delete the game and buy it again.

program files x86 > steam > steamapps > common

then delete the entire gmod folder and reinstall gmod it'll also free up a bunch of storage

Right click gmod, go to manage, press browse local files and go to factory reset
