highway 17 maps fullbright

a went through some of the half life 2 maps and found that most highway 17 maps are fullbright any solution?

try turning fulblrihgt off with mat_fullbright 0

tried that it does nothing same with mat_fullbright 1

look up (hl2 fullbright fix) (gmod is a hl2 mod so its basicly same stuff)

mat_dxlevel 90 +mat_hdr_level 2 +mat_fullbright 0

and it just said

i fixed it by going to advanced video option and putting hig dynamic range to full (if avadiable)
and shadow detail on medium

PuppetManiac didn't work i did what you said but it it didn't work im using a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 with a core i5 8600k cpu @ 3.10 GHZ
